Pitter, patter in the New Forest......

Saturday 24th - Thursday 29th June 2017

We had been busy with general chores and maintenance on the house in extreme temperatures and decided to spend some warm days in our twin!! Well that's a joke !!!

We set off on Saturday and drove down to the New Forest and found a nice pitch on Bransgore Caravan and Motorhome Club site, grass pitch backing onto an area of nettles, and wild flowers. Great to see areas like this left for a variety of insects and birds.

The site is okay, it could do with some more planting between pitches to add an air of privacy instead of being open and a bit boring to be honest. Still that seems to be the way in the UK from what we've see thus far. When we were at Dulverton there was just one small shrub between us and the next pitch but what a difference it makes. Come on C&M club.
The weather a bit mixed after the really hot spell and now guess what? A bit of rain. I can hear all the gardeners breathing a sigh of relief. ' the garden needed it etc etc' stuff the garden l say. Oh well.
