On the road early and made our way to Grappe d'Or camping site at Mersault on the outskirts of Beaune.
Journey through the champagne area and into Burgundy.
Longer journey than intended, had to follow a deviation.

Walked into the village of Mersault. We had forgotten the two hour lunch break that the French partake. But we did find a coffee shop open and sat outside and enjoyed the sun until the local supermarket opened.
